Warner Bros. showed an amazing screening of V, the new sci-fi series starring Joel Gretsch, Morena Baccarin, Scott Wolf, Morris Chestnut, and Elizabeth Mitchell to name a few.

The show is just astounding. It has some pretty excellent effects, and the acting is top-notch. Having never seen the original series, I can’t compare them. That said, this show feels a LOT like many other series. It follows several distinct character plotlines, but the characters actually cross paths and interact with each other, so it felt quite fluid.

Morena Baccarin is Anna, the Visitor High Commander, and plays the creepy factor to the hilt. She comes off as alluring and beautiful, but at the same time cold and repellent. She’s not alone in her performance either. Alan Tudyk joined the show, but sadly only as a guest star. Elizabeth Mitchell shines as an FBI agent, and a mother, and Joel Gretsch does an amazing job as a priest who benefits from the V’s, but doesn’t quite trust them.

Series airs in November, but I hope there is much more content released before then.

Now my laptop is dying, so stay tuned as I search for an outlet.
